Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) – Shirva Deanery is a vibrant youth organization under the Udupi Diocese, dedicated to nurturing young people in faith, leadership, service, and fellowship. As a deanery-level body, ICYM Shirva Deanery unites the youth of various parishes within the Shirva Deanery, providing a platform for spiritual growth, community engagement, and personal development.
Inspired by the vision of the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM), our mission is to empower young people to become committed disciples of Christ and responsible leaders in society through formation, fellowship, and action. ICYM promotes the holistic development of youth by encouraging active participation in the life of the Church and meaningful service to the community.
Through conventions, leadership programs, faith formation activities, social outreach initiatives, sports events, cultural programs, environmental campaigns, and charitable works, ICYM Shirva Deanery strives to build a generation of youth who live their faith with conviction and contribute positively to society.
